a disarming idea

The detail on this one didn't scan in very well - the objects on the arm and hand are a graveyard, a bird statue, a forest, a castle, and mysterious monoliths along the thumb. I originally wanted to use this in some sort of fantasy game. The main thing I learned from working on this is that it's really hard to draw your arm from this perspective! This was done in pencil, on 8.5x11 paper, and I got horrible eye strain doing it. :P Thanks, Jeff, for the title. :)
